But on top of that, you see a sustainable brand; inspired by zero waste, collective responsibility and responsible consumption. Creative recycling is an essential part of Tamara’s production. Because she is a great collector and has a very good eye, she gets beautiful things, in good condition and quality, that will integrate effortlessly and in perfect harmony in any of her products.

Tamara is an environmentally conscious designer who believes that too much waste is generated in the name of fashion. That’s why she believes that creative recycling and slow fashion are key to a more sustainable world that solves one of the biggest environmental problems today: the excessive use of plastic. TamiNeko’s purses, envelopes and pouches are made with plastic from advertising banners, coloured transparent PVC and rubber from table cloths; while fanny packs, bags and holsters use fabric from disused clothes or jeans – all in perfect condition – to create unique, resistant and durable designs. Tamara helps you create your own fashion, to make yours functional products that have been transformed from what others might consider garbage.

Like many of us, Tamara wants to do her bit to leave a better world for the next genereation and to do so creativity is key. When she finds a piece of fabric from a pair of pants, a piece of plastic, of bias tape or magazine clippings her imagination goes wild and there is no stopping it. These details are what give each article its exclusivity, making it impossible for two to be the same; in a nutshell, once a material is given a second life, there’ s non left.

Hand in hand with her Singer sewing machine in a pure vintage style, Tamara gives life to her sustainable brand TamiNeko and a wide variety of products in her small workshop in Benimaclet, Valencia. She lives the philosophy of slow life and her creations are no exception.
