Reduces the amount of waste by creating sustainable and eco products

Since she was a child Ana has had a concern for the environment, having a great concern about the amount of waste that is generated daily and that most end up polluting mountains, rivers and seas. In an effort to not generate unnecessary waste, Ana began to save certain things that could have a second use, even without knowing what they could be used for or how to reuse them. After so much thought, it occurred to her that these materials can be used to create objects that in addition to being unique were useful, but most importantly that they were sustainable.

This new stage started as a hobby, creating some things for friends and family, but little by little creativity and concern for the environment became a sustainable business that led her to create her brand Zocata Ecodesign. Ana makes wallets, coin purses and handbags from the small workshop she has at home.

Being passionate about colours, every wallet, coin purse and handbag is full of colour, combining drawings and designs with contrasting or perfectly matching them;

she even ventured to create wallets with hand painted mandalas, where creativity is what matters, not following a definite pattern and just let everything be an explosion of colour!

All Zocata Ecodesign products are created with recycled materials such as milk cartons, cardboard and plastic bags, decorted with wallpaper of different designs that she gets from recycle catalogs discarded by stores. Ana takes care of every detail of her products by using plastified adhesives to make them waterproof and resistant; in addition, each of them is handsewn with waxed thread and the holes of the rubbers are riveted to avoid the wear of the paper.

When you get to know Ana, her story and her products, you know a person concerned about her surroundings; a person who for many years has thought about how to help the environment and who thanks to her creativity does her part to help the planet, and helps us to do our part.
